The Bay Area Monitor is a publication of the League of Women Voters of the Bay Area. The publication reports on transportation, air quality, water, land use and open space issues in the Bay Area and has been doing so since 1975. After receiving a grant from Craig Newmark Philanthropies they set out to launch a new website.
MIGHTYminnow worked closely with the Bay Area Monitor team to define project requirements unique to their bi-monthly publication. We customized the WordPress content management system to group articles into issues and display the articles in a clean and organized presentation. The Bay Area Monitor team can easily publish and manage issues online, display sponsors associated with each issue, publish supplemental content articles to the Blog and manage traditional content pages.
