What We Do
We make websites with a focus on creative problem-solving. Our goal is to craft something that looks wonderful, does what you need, is easy for you to update, and fits within your budget. We work incredibly hard to make our clients happy, and it shows when you look at all of our happy clients. If you need web help, MIGHTYminnow will work with you to create something you love that won’t take a huge budget and we’ll train you on how to keep it fresh.
Our Core Values
MIGHTYminnow believes in doing business with as much integrity, honesty, community-spiritedness and mindfulness as possible. We try to make every project a win-win where all parties come away feeling empowered and valued. We strive to provide you with the best product or the best experience that anyone has to offer. We are knowledgeable, helpful and fun to work with. We try to always lead with Empathy, and that spirit also drives our pro-bono work.
Our founder, Kristin Long, is a Bay Area based business owner, web developer and technology trainer who started building websites in 1998. Since then she has been helping nonprofits, startups, entrepreneurs, educational institutions and companies of all sizes create and maintain professional web sites. She prides herself on making a personal connection with each client-partner.
Kristin has taught hundreds of people how to build websites ~ from HTML and CSS to WordPress. She has also volunteered to conduct free community trainings through Workshop Weekend and Hack the Hood. Her passion lies in animal welfare, and you can see this reflected in her choice of pro bono projects for Rocket Dog Rescue, Island Cat Rescue and Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary.
Kristin is an Adobe certified web developer and an Adobe certified instructor specializing in WordPress development. She has presented at numerous conferences including Adobe MAX and SXSWi. Kristin oversees each project from proposal to launch.
